Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Cinnamon Sugar Mixture:
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, oil (or butter), egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients; stir just until moistened.
- In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar.
- Pour half the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle half the cinnamon sugar mixture, then add remaining batter. Top with remaining cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
