SLOW COOKERHAM AND POTATOES

Slow Cooker Ham & Potatoes – Comfort in Every Bite!

Ingredients:

500g (1 lb) cooked ham, diced or sliced

4–5 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup heavy cream or milk

1 tsp dried thyme

1/2 tsp black pepper

Salt to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Layer the ingredients: Place potatoes at the bottom of the slow cooker. Add chopped onion and garlic. Top with diced ham.
  2. Add seasonings & liquid: Pour in chicken broth and cream. Sprinkle thyme, salt, and pepper evenly.
  3. Cook slowly: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until potatoes are tender.
  4. Add cheese (optional): About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle cheddar on top and let it melt.
  5. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy a hearty, comforting meal.

✨ Tip: For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of Dijon mustard or a pinch of smoked paprika.
