Ingredients
For the steak:
500g beef steak (sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin), cut into cubes
1–2 tbsp olive oil or butter
Salt & black pepper (generous)
1 tsp paprika (optional)
For the creamy sauce:
2 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional but recommended)
1 cup heavy cream (or crème fraîche)
1/2 cup beef broth
1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
1/2 tsp Italian herbs or thyme
2 tbsp grated parmesan
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
🔥 Instructions
- Season the steak
Pat steak bites dry, then season generously with salt, pepper, and paprika. - Sear the meat
Heat olive oil or butter in a hot pan. Add steak bites and sear 1–2 minutes per side until browned.
Remove the steak and set aside (don’t overcook—medium or medium-rare is perfect). - Make the sauce
In the same pan add butter, then sauté the garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in Dijon mustard, beef broth, Italian herbs, and crushed pepper. Simmer 2–3 minutes. - Add cream & parmesan
Pour in the heavy cream, add parmesan, and let the sauce thicken on low heat. - Return steak to the sauce
Add the steak bites back into the pan and simmer 1–2 minutes.
Taste and adjust salt/pepper. - Garnish & serve
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and freshly crushed black pepper.

😍 Chef Tips
For best flavor, use cast iron to sear the meat.
Make sure the pan is very hot before adding steak.
Don’t overcrowd the pan or the meat will steam instead of sear.
